  "Oshiwara Police Crack Theft Case, Recover Rs 3.15 Lakh Worth of Stolen Mobiles" In the early hours of June 26, 2024, a daring burglary shook a quiet Mumbai neighborhood. Mr. Shahid Mansoori was out with his family, leaving only his elderly father at home. The senior citizen, awaiting his family's return, left the front door open. At around 2:30 AM, he went to the bathroom, leaving the door ajar. Upon returning ten minutes later, he found the home's furniture in disarray and cupboards open. The intruders had seized the opportunity to steal Rs 80,000 in cash and two mobile phones. The victim Mr Shahid Mansoori, visited Oshiwara police station to report the incident. On-spot duty officer Mr. Rahul Survashe has taken the complaint and immediately took action, seeing the seriousness of the matter. Now don't be surprised If I say there are more then 70+ social media platforms exist. Yes, more than 70+ social media platforms, and how many do you know?. But don't worry you don't need to know all platforms.

LinkedIn

Snapchat

These are the most used social media platforms in the world. But, remember in my post (How to start your career in digital media marketing) what I mentioned. Initially just stuck to one platform at a time, until you get a good grasp of it. 

And, 

when you do marketing on this platform it becomes Social Media Marketing.

Ads are basically paying to that particular social media platform to advertise your product, services on there and on their partner associated platforms. 

For Example:

You choose a Facebook platform to advertise your product, services, Let's say you want to do brand awareness for your newly open shop. 

So you will create a campaign on the Facebook platform with a goal of brand awareness and you will pay as per your budget to Facebook for showing your ads to the target audience. 

Also, 

Instagram is a Facebook product, so Facebook can show your ads on Instagram if you wish to, which are known as associated platforms. 



There are two ways you can use social media platforms for marketing. 
Paid and Organic
